Out of the 163 fresh cases in the State Capital today, 32 cases were detected among quarantined people and the rest 131 cases were reported as local contacts.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 10,97,91 with Active Cases standing at 3494.
The civic body also said that as many as 142 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 1,05,265 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 1011 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 3,215 said the BMC.
