A meeting of the BJP Legislature Party was held here on Wednesday to discuss various issues to be raised in the upcoming Assembly session. After the meeting, Opposition Chief Whip Mohan Majhi said the BJP Legislature Party met today to discuss various issues to be raised in the winter session.
“Party will raise farmers’ issue including, mandi mismanagement, Archana Nag, police inaction in the lady blackmailer case and corruption in MGNREGA scheme,” Majhi said.
The BJP would oppose the decision of allowing the members to attend the House proceedings through video conferencing, Majhi said.
The winter session will commence on November 24 and continue till December 31. As per schedule, the supplementary budget for the financial year 2022-23 will be presented before the House on the first day of the session.
The session will have 33 working days, of which six have been marked for private members' business days. There will be no meetings on five Sundays.
