The ruling party distributed money among voters at different places in Padampur, alleged the BJP.
The team apprised the CEO that BJD candidate Barsha Singh Bariha’s brother Bhojaraj Singh Bariha was caught red-handed by villagers while distributing money in Sareikela. He, however, managed to flee from the spot before police reached there. However, police have nabbed one of his aides.
The too informed that the concerned villagers have returned money to a BJD-supported Ward Member.
In Paikamal, voters have also returned money after taking a decision at a meeting in this regard.
“All these have proved that the BJD is distributing money,” alleged team leader Lekhasri Samantsinghar.
She said BJD worker MD Sajit threated villagers when they opposed him distributing money. BJD workers are manhandling BJP workers as the latter are opposing them.
Rairangpur MLA Naba Charan Majhi and Udala MLA Bhaskar Madhei were other members of the BJP team that met the CEO.
