The party too demanded immediate arrest of Bhojaraj Das, ASI, CID Special Branch.
“Bhojaraj Das was secretly shooting a video of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. As he was doing an illegal act, he should be arrested,” said a BJP memorandum submitted to the CEO.
The party also alleged that police have not taken any action despite an FIR was lodged against BJD leaders for attacking BJP workers on November 26. Secret video shooting of the Union Minister also shows carelessness of the police. As all these violate model code of conduct during a poll process, the SP needs to be transferred soon,” demanded the BJP.
The party told the CEO that Padmapur DFO Bibi Behera recently expelled a temporary employee, Chudamani Panigrahi, as he had filed a complaint against a band of BJD workers. Thus, Behera should be suspended now.
“It is evident that senior officers have been working in favour of the BJD. We demand SP transferred and the DFO suspended soon,” demanded the BJP.
The party urged the CEO to ensure a free and fair bypoll in Padmapur Assembly constituency.
A team led by BJP State vice-president Bhrugu Baxipatra submitted a memorandum to the CEO.
