Koraput, Feb 27: Averting a major ambush by Red-rebels yet again, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have seized a huge cache of Maoist explosives from Narayanpatna forest in Koraput district on Saturday.
As per the report, BSF men from 155 Battalion conducted a combing operation inside Pindamali-Bhitarpara jungle today morning and came across the ammunition dump. Those were retrieved safely, says report.
The seized items include 60 gelatin sticks, 50 electronic detonators, 30 iron pellets and 2.5 kg gun powder.
The Maosts might have stored the explosives to target security personnel in future, said BSF.
