Bhubaneswar, Feb 8: A public library opened at the Integrated Public Service Centre (IPSC) in Saheed Nagar here in Odisha on Monday, Officials said.
The library has come up with the joint effort of Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), they added.
It will remain open from 10 AM to 2 PM and from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Books on various competitive examinations, contemporary Indian literature, history, religion, health, fitness and other disciplines are available both in Odia and English literature in the library.
The readers can also get as many as 20 newspapers and 15 magazines in different languages.
Adequate security arrangements have been made to encourage the girl students and women readers to use the public library, officials added.
Students, aspirants of competitive examinations and local residents will be greatly benefitted with the new library.
