Bhubaneswar, Dec 23: BJD supreme and Chief Minister Naveen Patnik on Wednesday advised activists of the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal to adopt three basic qualities in life; to create own identity, remain supportive to parents and serve the society.
Addressing the BCJD activists on the occasion of its State executive meeting, the Chief Minister said a student should follow selfless deeds of legendaries like Utkalmani Gopabandhu, Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das, Maa Rama Devi, Malati Devi and Parvati Giri. Students should be inspired by patriotism shown by tiny Baji Rout, Buxi Jagabandhu and Surendra Sai, he said.
The meeting was addressed by the CM through videoconferencing. Party’s organising secretary Pranab Prakash Dash had earlier inaugurated the meeting. BCJD president Debi Ranjan Tripathi, other State functionaries and district office-bearers were present.
