As per a release issued by the CMO, the employees will be paid with the final tranche of the arrear with their March salary.
The clearing of the pending arrears will benefit 4 lakh employees.
A supplementary budgetary outlay of Rs 850 has been earmarked for the purpose.
Worth mentioning, Odisha Government has already cleared 80 per cent of the arrear of 7th Pay Commission earlier. While, 40 per cent of the increased pay was cleared in 2016-17, 10 per cent was given in 2019-20 and 30 per cent in 2021-22.
Odisha Government had accepted and implemented the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission from January 2016. Based on the same the enhanced salary was paid from 2017.
