Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday expressed grief over the death of two people in a road accident at R. Udaygiri in Gajapati district.
The Chief Minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased, informed his office.

As per reports, at least two people died and 20 others sustained severe injuries as the mini truck in which they were travelling in overturned near R. Udaygiri this morning.
The victims, residents of Tumun village, were reportedly going to attend a marriage feast at Jamadiha.
On being informed, local police and fire brigadiers reached the spot and rescued the victims, and rushed them to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, the police registered a case in this connection and started investigation on what could be the exact reason for the accident.
