Bhubaneswar , Feb 13: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Rourkela on February 16, Tuesday, to launch various development projects for Sundargarh district, informed his office on Saturday.
In a tweet, the CMO said, “To accelerate the development of Sundargarh district, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Rourkela on February 16 on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami.”
“During his visit, the Chief Minister will meet the people of the district and dedicate various developmental projects. He will also lay the foundation stone of various projects,” it added.
Last month, the State Government announced to complete the proposed world-class hockey stadium in Rourkela, with a sitting capacity of 20,000 spectators, within one year.
Spread over 15 acres of land, the new stadium will be the second venue for the Men's Hockey World Cup 2023.
