Bhubaneswar, Mar 31: Ahead of visit of Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Antigen test started in the Utkal University premises on Wednesday, informed BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhury.
Chaudhury said not a single Covid positive case has been reported from the university so far.
While two days left for Vice-President’s visit, nobody from the Utkal University has tested positive as of now. But we have started antigen test in the university premises today. RT-PCR test will be conducted tomorrow, said Chaudhury.
The BMC has received a list of 400 people who will attend the convocation. All police personnel and other staffs who will be attending the convocation will go through Covid test,” said Chaudhury.
The Vice President is scheduled to attend 50th convocation of the university on April 3.
