Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Thursday issued a yellow warning of dense fog at several places in Odisha during next three days.
As per the midday weather bulletin of today, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore from 8.30 AM of Friday to 8.30 AM of Saturday.
The Met Department also issued dense fog alert for the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Khordha from 8.30 AM of Saturday to 8.30 AM of Sunday.
Likewise, it issued a yellow weather warning of dense fog over the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Boudh and Kandhamal from 8.30 AM of Sunday to 8.30 AM of Monday.
The weathermen also forecast shallow to moderate fog over several districts across the State during the period.
There will be no large change in minimum temperature in the State during next two to three days, the bulletin said.
Today, the highest maximum temperature of the State was recorded in Bhawanipatna and Malkangiri at 32.5 degree Celsius and the lowest minimum temperature of 12.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Baripada, the bulletin added.
