The Odisha Vigilance that made the arrest informed that the ABEO had asked the Assistant Teacher to pay Rs 5,000 to release his held over pay. On the complaint, the Vigilance laid a trap and nabbed the ABEO red-handed.
The entire bribe money Rs 5000 has been recovered and seized from the exclusive possession of Singh, informed the anti-corruption agency.
It also informed that the residential house of accused Singh located at Poilo, Balia under Kendrapara Dist is being searched from DA angle.
In this connection, a case has been registered and investigation is in progress against Singh, it added.
