According to reports, Prince Charles visited Hariharpur village in Nimapara during his Konark Visit on December 4, 1980. He was 32 then. Charles had stayed at the Governor’s house in Bhubaneswar and paid a visit to Haripur village. Prince Charles also drank green coconut in the village and saw how the green coconuts are plucked from the tree and how the baskets are woven.
