The fresh infected persons included 57 children in the age group of 0-18 years. While 159 were detected from among the quarantined persons, the rest 111 were found as local contacts.
Among districts, Khurda recorded the highest 124 cases, followed by Dhenkanal 20, Cuttack 16, Sundargarh 14, Jajpur and Mayurbhanj 10 each, Jharsuguda nine, Sambalpur seven, Kendrapada and Puri five each, Balasore and Ganjam four each, Balangir three, Angul, Keonjhar and Nayagarh two each Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur and Nawarangpur reported one case each.
Besides, 30 cases were detected from the State Pool.
During the period, 276 patients recovered from the Covid, taking the State’s total recoveries to 10,38,971.
Active cases stood at 2,425.
