Bhubaneswar, Jun 2: India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday said that heavy rainfall very likely to occur over four districts of Odisha till tomorrow morning.
“Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati and Boudh till 8.30 am Thursday,” said the IMD’s latest bulletin.
The IMD issued a yellow weather warning for these four districts. It also forecast light to moderate rain at many places in the State till tomorrow morning.
The weathermen also issued a yellow warning of thunderstorm and lightning for the districts of Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Subarnapur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Bargarh, Sambalpur and Angul during the period.
There will be no large change in maximum temperature (Day temperature) during next 4-5 days across the State, the bulletin added.
