Athagarh, Mar 29: Holi, the game of colours, turned fatal in a village in Athagarh area as a man took watery grave and his nephew became critical as they slipped into deep water while taking bath in the Mahanadi after the game on Monday afternoon.
According to information, the uncle-nephew duo was taking bath at Mankadbhuyan ghat near Narasinghpur when they slipped. They were traced by fire services personnel. Soon, they were also rushed to a hospital. But, the uncle, identified as Prakash Behera, was declared brought dead by the hospital.
The nephew was undergoing treatment by the time of filing of the story.
