ଜୟଲଳିତା ଓ ଏମଜି ରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ରନଙ୍କୁ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଂଜଳି ଦେଲେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ
Rourkela, Feb 10: In a shocking incident, a renowned hotelier was killed by unidentified miscreants here in Odisha on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sajan Mittal, the owner of Basro hotel in the city.
As per reports, Mittal was returning to his home last night when the miscreants allegedly attacked him with sharp weapons near his residence and fled from the spot.
Soon his family members rescued him and rushed to Ispat General Hospital with the help of locals. However, he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital in the wee hours of today.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
“The body of Mittal has been seized for autopsy and further investigation is underway,” a police officer said.
