Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday forecast light to moderate rainfall very likely to occur at several places in Odisha for four days staring from today.
The IMD, in its midday bulletin of today, said that light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul over next 24 hours.
The Met Department issued yellow weather warning for Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Angul, Balangir, Nuapada and Bargarh districts from 8.30 AM of February 17 to 8.30 AM of February 18.
It also issued yellow weather warning Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack, Boudh and Kandhamal districts from 8.30 AM of February 18 to 8.30 AM of February 19.
Today, the highest maximum temperature of 35.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Bhubaneswar and the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani and Boudh in the State, the bulletin added.
