Puri, Feb 13: A day after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said to have disbursed third installment of Rs 1,272 crore to over 53 lakh farmers under the KALIA scheme, a farmer of Delanga area in Puri district expressed unhappiness saying that he, though listed under the scheme, is yet to receive the cash aid.
“My name was in Panchayat list. But we have not received any installment of KALIA or PM Kissan Yojana. When I approached the Agriculture Department, officials said there was wrong in my name. Then I submitted Aadhar Card and Bank Pass Book. But I am yet to receive any installment,” said a disgusted youth farmer.
The farmer too claimed that they are enrolled with Cooperative Societies. Other farmers of his village too expressed unhappiness making the same allegations.
It may be noted that many farmers, whose names were listed under the KALIA scheme in the second phase selection, are yet to receive any installment.
