Bhubaneswar, May 30: In order to break Corona chain further, the Odisha Government on Sunday announced extension of lockdown for 16 more days from June 1 to June 17. This would be the third phase lockdown when the second phase ends at 5 am on June 1, 2021.
According to information availed from SRC office, vaccination and testing activities will continue across the State during the lockdown. People can move to testing sites for getting their samples tested. Similarly, people can move to vaccination centres showing slot messages.
Weekend shutdowns will also continue along with lockdown.
During lockdown, people will be allowed to buy vegetables, ration, egg, meat and fish from nearby markets. However, there will be no shops open during shutdown. Only medicine and hospital will remain open. All public vehicles will be off the road. Vehicles carrying essential commodities will be allowed to move on the roads.
