“There is no doubt that remains traced in the Bindusagar Pond near Shuashari Temple must have been a part of a heritage shrine rich in sculpture art. Greetings to ASI for the exploration,” tweeted Naik.
Naik advised the State Government to take suggestions from the ASI for development and beautification work of the Lingaraj Temple. “Heritage and archeological aspects should not be sidelined during development work. The State Government should take advice of the ASI in this regard,” mentioned Naik.
He added, “I make special requests to the Chief Minister to allow the ASI to conduct surveys at places where it smells presence of remains of heritage structure.”
