Cuttack, Feb 8: Mysterious death of Mahanga double murder prime accused Prafulla Biswal has reportedly fetched fresh troubles for Mahanga MLA and Law Minister Pratap Jena who is also an accused in the case.
In a fresh FIR filed at the Mahanga Police Station on February 5, Ramakant Baral, son of slain Kulamani Baral, mentioned that Prafulla, accused No.2 in the earlier FIR filed by him, had talked to him over mobile phone earlier in the day and told him that he was put in a trap by Minister Jena. For Jena, he was involved in three murders. Prafulla too requested Baral to protect his family. A copy of which is available with the Argus News.
Besides, tracing of Prafulla’s body near a travel agency owned by Jena’s family has added to innumerable questions being raised over his death. The BJP has already alleged that Prafulla was murdered out of the fear that he might tell the truth which may put the ruling party in trouble.
It may be noted that Prafulla, the prime accused in the double murder of Kulamani Baral and his association Dibyasingha Biswal, was found dead on a road in Tangi area two days back. Though it is suspected that he died in a road accident, the exact reason is still to be established.
