The deceased have been identified as wife Kunti Tanla and her husband Ghasi Tanla.
According to information, a verbal spat erupted between Kunti and he husband over unknown issue this morning. As the argument escalated Ghasi lost cool and thrashed his wife severely to kill her on the spot.
The accused drank poison to commit suicide subsequently.
Locals informed police after discovering the couple dead at home later in the morning.
Police have seized the bodies for autopsy by reaching the spot and launched a probe into the deaths.
