ବଡ଼ପାଳ ସେବା ସମବାୟ ସମିତିରେ ଚାଷୀ ଏବେ ହତାଶ
Cuttack, Feb 15: Tension prevailed in Anlo village under Niali police station in Cuttack district last night, after unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at a local’s house.
The incident took place late in the night while residents were asleep in their houses. A group of men came on a bike and threw a country-made bomb at one Batakrushna Mukhi’s house.
While the bomb exploded by hitting the front wall of Mukhi’s house the loud noise sparked a panic in the village.
Later, the victim lodged a complaint at Niali Police Station in connection with the incident.
Police carried out preliminary investigation reaching the spot and collected samples of the bomb.
While the cause behind the bomb hurling is not known, a past rivalry is being suspected for the same.
