The Monsoon Session of the Assembly, which will meet for the fourth day today, is scheduled to transact the Question Hour with questions enlisted from seven departments- Women and Child Development, Textiles, Handlooms and Handicrafts, Skill Development and Technical Education, Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Mission Shakti and Public Enterprise.
It may be noted that the House could not transact any business in the morning hours yesterday as Congress demanded discussion on irregularities in the State Staff Selection Commission by suspending the Question Hour and the Speaker didn’t accept the demand and adjourned the House till 4 pm. Though an Adjournment Motion is scheduled to be taken up discussion every day, only one such motion has been debated in the last three days.
