ପିଏମ୍ କିଶାନରେ ଯୋଜନାକୁ ନେଇ ଚାଷିଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା
Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: Acting on a complaint filed by noted wildlife protection activist Dr Bishwajit Mohanty, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has ordered an inquiry into adverse impact of tourism in the Satkosia Tiger Reserve (STR) in Odisha.
In a letter to AIG, NTCA, Regional Office, Odisha, Deputy Inspector General of Forests Rajendra G Garwad sent a copy of the complaint lodged by Mohanty and directed to conduct an inquiry and submit report to the NTCA at the earliest.
In its complaint, Dr Mohanty has alleged that there has been an adverse impact of tourism in the Satakosia Tiger Reserve due to various reasons. Dr Mohanty requested the NTCA to take early steps so that tourism is not affected in the tiger reserve.
