Bhubaneswar, Feb 27: The Odisha Government on Saturday allowed holding of Jatras and other open air shows from March 1, subject to a ceiling of 2000 persons.
The office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) today issued guidelines in this regard and empowered the local administration to take a call on all entertainment activities in their respective areas.
The SRC has asked the organisers to comply Covid-19 protocols such as mandatory wearing of face masks, physical distancing and provision of thermal scanning.
“Open air/ Jatra/Operas shall be permitted by the local authorities subject to compliance of Covid -19 safety protocols such as mandatory wearing of face masks, physical distancing, provision of thermal scanning. Keeping the size of the ground/space in view , appropriate number of persons (subject to a celling of 2000 persons) will be allowed,” read an order issued by the SRC.
