Odisha Police, BSF establish COB in Bonda Hills

Malkangiri, Feb 9: The Odisha Police and the BSP have established a Company Operating Base (COB) for BSF in the Bonda Hills at Mudulipada in Malkangiri district, informed DGP Abhay on Tuesday.

Stating that the COB would further accelerate development in the Mudulipada area, the DGP appealed once again to Maoists to return to the mainstream of the society.   

"This would further accelerate development in the area. Once again appeal to the Maoists to surrender and join mainstream," tweeted the DGP.

According to information, the COB of the 15th Batallion BSF was established in a record time of 15 days. Besides effecting development, the COB will also keep vigil on the movement of Maoists in the area.
