Bhubaneswar, Apr 12: As many as 1741 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the COVID-19 tally of the State to 3,51,302, officials said on Monday.
Out of the fresh 1741 COVID-19 cases, 1015 cases were detected from quarantined people, while 726 cases were reported from local contacts.
Sundargarh district recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 268, followed by Khordha at 204 and balasore at 158.
According to the State Health Department, as many as 3,40,062 people of the State have recovered from Coronavirus infection so far.
Odisha currently has 9,259 active cases, the Health Department said.
