Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: As many as 225 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.
Out of the fresh 225 COVID-19 cases, 131 were reported from the quarantined people, while 94 were detected from local contact cases.
Sundargarh district recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 38, followed by Bargarh and Balangir each at 15.
With this, the COVID-19 tally of the State has increased to 3,32,331, according to the State Health and Family Welfare Department.
So far, as many as 3,28,271 Covid-19 patients of the State have been cured.
Currently, Odisha has 2,688 active cases.
