The State reported 254 new Covid-19 cases on Friday and 269 new cases on the previous day.
Out of 269 fresh cases in the State, 157 cases have been reported from quarantined people, 112 are local contact cases.
Khordha district reported the maximum number of fresh cases at 66, followed by Cuttack at 49, Sundargarh at 29, Nawarangpur at 11.
As many as 15 fresh cases were reported from the State pool.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the State has increased to 13,29,995. So far, a total of 13,19,000 people of the State have been recovered from Covid-19.
“The active cases of the State now stand at 1,758 ,” the Department said.
