Bhubaneswar, Apr 17: As many as 3,144 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in the past 24 hours, taking the COVID-19 tally of the State to 3,64,594, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department on Saturday.
Out of the fresh 3,144 COVID-19 cases, 1,823 cases were detected from quarantined people, while 1,321 cases were reported from local contacts.
Sundargarh district recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 523, followed by Khordha at 497.
As many as 3,43,522 people of the State have recovered from Coronavirus infection so far, said the Health Department
The State currently has 19,077 active cases, it added.
