Odisha reports 63 new COVID-19 cases; Active cases stand at 706

Bhubaneswar, Feb 18:  As many as 63 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in the past 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

Out of the fresh 63 fresh COVID-19 cases, 39 cases were detected from quarantined people, while 24 cases were reported from local contact cases.

Sundargarh district recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 10, followed by Bargarh at 7.

With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases of the State reached to 3,36,460, out of which 3,33,788 people have recovered from Coronavirus infection so far.

Odisha currently has 706 active cases, according to the State Health and Family Welfare Department.
