The State had reported 78 Covid positives yesterday. With new cases, the State’s tally mounted to 12,87,108.
While 42 positives were reported from among the quarantined people, the rest 30 were found as local contacts.
Among the districts, Ganjam only reported a two-digit cases at 17, while 16 other districts reported infections in single-digit numbers and the rest 13 districts- Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada and Suburnapur- didn’t report any case.
Besides, two cases were reported from the State pool.
During the period 118 infected people recovered, taking the State’s total recoveries to 12,77,271. Active cases stood at 668, informed the department.
