Bhubaneswar, Mar 4: As many as 82 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the COVID-19 tally of the State to 3,37,529, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department on Thursday.
Out of the fresh 81 COVID-19 cases, 49 were detected from quarantined people, while 32 were reported from the local contact cases.
Sambalpur district recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 15, followed by Mayurbhanj at 8 and Bargarh at 7.
According to the Health Department, as many as 3,34,767 people of the State have recovered from Coronavirus infection so far.
Odisha currently has 792 active cases, said the Health Department.
