According to the data tweeted by the Information and Public Relations Department, two of the new infected persons are children below the age of 18 years. While five cases were reported from among quarantined people, the rest two were reported as local contacts.
Among districts, Ganjam and Sambalpur reports two cases each and Balasore, Cuttack and Khurda reported one infection each.
Yesterday, 13 Covid patients recovered, taking the State’s total recoveries to 12,79,000. After recoveries and deaths (9,126 due to Covid and 53 for other reasons), the State’s active cases stood at 132, showed the data.
