Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: 60 more Covid-19 positive cases were detected in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in Odisha to 336322 on Tuesday.
Of these fresh cases, 36 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 24 found as local contacts.
According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 15 districts of the State.
Among the districts today, with 13 new cases Puri remained at the top on the list followed by Sambalpur and Sundergarh 9 cases each, Nuapada (6) and Bolangir (5).
One case has been reported from the State Pool today.
Besides 83 Corona patients were also recovered in the State today.
Similarly, one patient died of Covid-19 under treatment in Odisha today also. A 73 years old female Covid positive patient of Keonjhar District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Hypothyroidism succumbed, tweeted State Health & Family Welfare Department.
