As per the decision of Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department the museum will allow visitors starting from 10 am on Jan 19 after reopening and run till 5.30 pm for five days in a week.
As a deviation from earlier schedule of remaining closed on Monday, the museum will remain shut for an additional day on Saturday in view of Corona guidelines.
An arrangement has been made by the museum authorities to allow a total 200 visitors inside its premise every day. More visitors will be allowed once the government relaxes Covid-19 norms, maintained the authorities.
After availing tickets through online mode only, the visitors will have to undergo thermal screening at the entrance of the museum. They are expected to maintain social distance once inside the premises.
Ahead of the reopening, the garden of the museum has been given a new look to allure the visitors, says report.
Similarly, the Anand Bhawan in Cuttack is also being thrown open for visitors from today with strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines.
