“If class X board examinations can be cancelled in view of rising covid-19 cases, why the Plus II board examination can’t be scrapped,” said a protesting student.
“We have already lost our large part of time and if the Government decides to conduct the examinations after two months, we will be badly affected. Hence the Government should cancel the Plus II board examinations,” said another student.
Meanwhile, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash advised the students to keep studying till a final decision on the Plus II examinations is taken by the State government.
The Chief Minister will review the situation in June first week and take a decision in this regard, he added.
The State government has postponed the Plus II examinations, which were scheduled to be held on May 18, in the wake of rising Covid cases in the State.
