Such shocking incident has been reported from Tentulikhola village under Ulunda block of Sonepur district.
According to information, the woman, Kunti came to her parental house at Charpali village under Puintara police station yesterday. On Saturday, she allegedly poisoned her baby and then attempted suicide consumed the toxic substance.
Soon her family members rushed the mother-daughter duo to the district headquarters hospital (DHH), where the doctors declared the toddler dead.
On the other hand, Kunti has been shifted to VIMSAR in Burla as her condition worsened.
