The deceased has been identified as Gita Pradhan.
On being informed, Marsaghai Police reached the spot and recovered the body from the house. The body was sent to a government hospital for autopsy.
“Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide. However, the exact cause of the death will be known after the arrival of the postmortem report,” a police officer said.
