--ACF 'murder' in Paralakhemundi: Wife, cook, DFO booked on deceased's father's complaint
Paralakhemundi, Jul 15: In a development in the ‘suspicious’ death of Paralakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, police have registered a murder case against three persons, including his wife Bidya Bharati, on the complaint of the deceased’s father.
The other two who have been booked are Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Sangram Keshari Behera and cook of the deceased ACF.
Soumya Ranjan’s father has alleged that the DFO and his daughter-in-law had illicit relationship for which the DFO was scheduling night duty for Soumya Ranjan often. This was told to him by his son Soumya Ranjan earlier.
He demanded that a thorough probe into the incident by Crime Branch would bring the truth to the fore.
