Paree killing: SIT plea for LVA test on accused rejected

Nayagarh, Feb 19: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Odisha Police probing the Nayagarh minor girl abduction and murder case got another jolt as the Children's Court here rejected its application seeking Lower Voice Analysis (LVA) test of the accused.

The SIT headed by senior IPSa Arun Bothra has also withdrawn its application of reopening of the chargesheet filed in the case earlier. The SIT had intended to make some additions to the charge-sheet.

It may be noted that the SIT’s application for conducting narco-analysis test on the arrested 17-year-old minor boy had been rejected by the Juvenile Justice Board earlier.
