The Chief Minister announced this while taking a review meeting on Covid-19 situation in the state.
During this meeting, it was decided that once the vaccine is available, it will be provided to senior citizens, pregnant women and health workers on priority basis.
The state government has already commenced the process for the preparation of a comprehensive database of frontline workers including the health, Anganwadi and ASHA workers for seamless initiation of the vaccination programme.
On Wednesday, as many as 1303 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the state. The total recovered cases now stand at 3,01,777, informed the State Health and Family welfare Department.
