Cuttack, July 27: In the latest development in Paralakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra suspicious death incident, the Bharatiya Bikash Parishad on Tuesday moved to Orissa High Court demanding CBI inquiry into the case.
In its Writ Petition Parishad has made Centre, State, Odisha DGP, Gajapati SP and Paralakhemundi Police Station IIC as respondents and prayed for appropriate direction to CBI for proper investigation into the death.
The petition also mentioned about the July 13 FIR to police by late ACF’s father clearly mentioning that DFO Sangram Keshari Behera had illicit relationship with his daughter-in-law as per an allegation by his son.
The same FIR also mentioned that the late DFO was being given night hour duty intentionally and was completely under pressure.
Meanwhile, another letter written by Bidya Bharati surfaced recently. The letter written to an unknown recipient mentions the phrase ‘My Future in Dark’ pointing at his ‘hopeless life’.
