Pradhan first visited temporary classrooms of two schools in Jagannath and Subhadra area being run by the Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL). During the visit, he also held discussions about the progress of the proposed schools with the district administration officials.
“Children of permanent and temporary employees of the MCL as well as local students can get quality education studying in these two schools,” tweeted Pradhan.
Besides, Pradhan also visited temporary classrooms of another proposed Kendriya Vidyalay and the under-construction Colliery High School in Dera Panchayat.
On the occasion, the Union Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Pradhan for taking various steps in making quality education affordably available to students belonging to all sections of the society in Odisha under the National Education Policy.
He too thanked Union Coal and Mining Minister Pralhad Joshi for the MCL providing all support to the two schools.
