According to information, a woman of Kashipal village under Jashipur block felt labour pain this morning. The family members soon called for an ambulance. However, the ambulance could not reach the village due to lack of a motorable road.
Family members started carrying the woman on a cot to reach the ambulance which was stationary at a place 2 km away from her house. However, the woman delivered a male child on the way.
The mother-son duo is now undergoing treatment at a hospital, said reports.
