Puri, Feb 14: In a show of respect to 40 CRPF men martyred in February 14, 2019 Pulwama terror attack which shook the nation, a youth from the religious town Puri has carved out a beautiful sculpture from waste paper.
The youth namely, Suryakant Das used flour paste, fabric glue and colour in creating a 21 inch height and 4 inch width statue of a Pulwama soldier. The young yet talented artist took five hours to create the statue, say reports.
Around 1 dista of waste newspaper were used in the artifact, said Suryakant.
“While the whole country was celebrating Valentine’s Day to spread love and affection, the terrorists had devised the cowardly and gruesome attack. We are remembering the day as black day since the attack. Through my sculpture on February 14 I want to give the message that we all should remember the supreme sacrifice and dedication of the brave martyrs on this day,” added Suryakant.
