Today, districts like Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur and Cuttack will witness light to moderate rainfall, according to the prediction.
On Sunday, 14 districts in northern Odisha and adjacent Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal will receive moderate rains.
The weather office has also predicted heavy to very heavy rains on October 3 and 4.
